Dynamic bass music duo, appropriately monikered “2SUM”, has just signed and released( (on 4/20/24) an insanely unique track with the famed record label BASSCVLT‘s newest installment in the BLAZECVLT series, titled 2NITE .
I have personally watched this bass duo since their inception into the scene, and I am beyond excited to be covering this track for them!
They quickly are making a name for themselves, and rightfully so.
2NITE begins with a subtle swell of harmonizing vocals, creating an atmosphere right from the start. A hip-hop beat soon introduces itself alongside the vocals, creating essentially a verse for the track.
When the first drop hits, your ears are instantly fucked with low-end vibrations, rapidly pulsating its way through your body as the sub overwhelms everything around you.
As the bassline rolls, you get the underlying vocals maintaining the vibe and atmosphere previously established in the beginning of the track. The basses and drops are mixed clean and crisp, allowing for any listener to simply enjoy the track as it plays without being overpowered by any elements such as drums.
The second half of the drop turns into a drop that will undeniably obliterate any dancefloor or live setting. The subs and dark vibes of the bass take over as it sends a repetitive pattern down your spine, but also leaves you with the desire to start moving and dancing.
The atmospheric vibes of the drop transition into the outro of this song perfectly, creating a seamless tail to fade out of, which I personally loved as a small detail!
2nite is an excellent song to add to multiple types of playlists, as it’s definitely not genre specific nor is it one specific vibe, but rather, a journey through as a listening experience.
