From Enmity Collective to Enmity Records – this is the launch of their new label.
Debuting with U.R.U.‘s single ‘When You Fall‘ – OUT NOW on all platforms!
Here at Monsoon Season, Enmity Collective is no strange name, some might say they are a fan favorite amongst our audience, and some have been curious how they would level up next.
Well, wait no more. Enmity Collective has officially launched its next major venture, properly titled Enmity Records.
Enmity Records is here to completely establish itself as a dominant force in the underground electronic dance music scene, particularly, the dubstep and riddim corner.
To properly launch this label, they have decided to drop this absolute heater of a track, titled When You Fall, produced by the beast U.R.U.
On When You Fall, instantly you know this track is going to be devastating. Right from the start, you are introduced to screaming vocals and heavy guitar riffs. This song gives you roughly three seconds before it says ‘lets go‘, and kicks into high gear.
As the metal riffs roll, you begin to slightly notice this is building to something, and that’s when it hits you. The drop happens very abruptly but also appropriately, and I love that.
This drop comes in with straight heavy basses and sustains that instantly obliterate any dancefloor that stands witness to this madness in a live setting. The patterns mixed with the sounds create the perfect environment to grab a rail and destroy it with aggressive headbanging.
As the track progresses, you are hit with various iterations of metal breakdowns and grimy dubstep drops, which are perfectly meshed together with a well-glued-together mixdown!
Roughly halfway through the tracks, all instruments abruptly cut out, leaving a haunting yet cinematic atmosphere shift, and it works perfectly.
A vocal section is slowly introduced as elements begin to creep in from the background, which eventually transitions into the utterly devastating second drop.
This drop has a more simple pattern progression. However, I feel like that helps it seem more aggressive than the previous one, and for that, the second drop will be my go-to for absolutely destroying my next live sets, as anyone reading this should do as well!
