RĒ:ZEN takes us back to earlier days with his reprised single ‘Revolve‘ hitting digital shelves nearly three years later.

RĒ:ZEN (pronounced reason), is a rising talent originally from Wyoming. In his first few years as a music producer, he was living in Denver, Colorado under the artist alias of Otatop (potato backwards).
His new single ‘Revolve‘ takes center stage on today’s radar with the wildest of wobbles infusing soundscapes of yesterday with the unwritten standards of tomorrow.
Developed over the course of years, this song is a testament to RĒ:ZEN‘s prowess behind the DAW and keeps listeners hooked with the thrilling thumps and thuds that create thunder in his wake.
His early experiences in Denver greatly influenced his musical style, blending elements of the city’s vibrant music scene with the tranquil and expansive landscapes of his hometown in Wyoming.
Drawing inspiration from the contrast between urban dynamism and natural beauty, RĒ:ZEN‘s music captures a unique blend of electronic beats and organic sounds, resonating with listeners on a deep and introspective level.
RĒ:ZEN shares his creative process with us:
“It’s hard to give you a creative process since I wrote this song about three years ago. Although, it takes me back to the beginning days of production. Having fun with it and just writing what I thought was entertaining at the time. The mixture of in-your-face dubstep with a deep dark ending gives the track a sense of realism. The ups and downs we go through, but hearing the vocal “I’m on top of the world” reminds me we can always achieve our highest, even at our lows”
Fast forward the clocks of life to today, he has now rebranded to RĒ:ZEN, symbolizing a new chapter in his musical journey. His music has evolved to embody a distinct fusion of genres, blending elements of electronic, hip-hop, and soulful displays of downtempo dubstep to create a truly unique sound.
What’s next for RĒ:ZEN’s event perfomances?
“What’s next is a Fort Collins show with Mantra Sounds on August 31st, then Synesthesia music festival the day after on Sep 1st.”
New music from RĒ:ZEN?
“New music coming all the way until the end of the year”
Throughout his career, he has evolved his sound, experimented with diverse musical genres, collaborated with artists like Mousai [Lose My Mind], and played at festivals like Bass Ribbon Pines and iconic venues like The Black Box in Denver, Colorado.
