Anyone who has been around in the scene for a hot minute will be no stranger to the names that I am about to talk about. Just in case you’re new here, I’ll give you a little backstory. Colee.one is a photography company run by founder and owner Brady Cole, who has worked with and shot for all of the biggest names in the scene and even the biggest festivals.

There is a good chance  your favorite Lost Lands or Bass Canyon photos seen on Excision‘s socials were taken by the man behind the brand and camera, Brady Colee.

Brady‘s humbleness behind the camera has landed him consistent gigs photographing bass music shows all across the country in all of the biggest venues. Acquiring such a resume also allowed him to dial in and master his craft, from lens to editing, and much more in between.

After developing his massive resume, that just wasn’t enough for Brady, but, knowing that he knew the ins and the outs of the dance music industry, he has decided to step foot into artist management.

Going forward, Colee.one is no longer a single stake photography business, oh no – it is now a full-fledged artist management company alongside his photography subsidiary, and he has teamed up with a massive name to help launch this brand update – that name is Careless Castle.

While Brady was mastering his own craft, his childhood friend Layne Beaton was out beginning his own musical endeavor in the same scene as Brady.

Formerly known as Adair, Layne began his endeavor by releasing on some of the biggest labels in electronic music very early in his career, releasing collabs with massive names like Getter, Kompany and Borgore, and while also being played out by dubstep juggernauts like Excision.

It was very apparent early on that Layne was truly something special in the world of EDM, and his path to glory had only just begun.

After some time, a massive creative decision was made to rebrand, however difficult, it had to be made, and thus Careless Castle was born.

The Careless Castle brand is actually something I was a huge fan of before this article even entered my radar, and having the chance to witness this man’s live set in a small town bar, it was truly a great experience.

Careless Castle‘s production and DJ sets are absolutely devastating in the best way possible. Prioritizing the blend of hip-hop and heavy dubstep, Careless Castle has amassed quite the resume, with releases on massive labels such as Monstercat, Buygore, Disciple, and many more.

Now that you have some back story, we can jump straight into business. As of the time this article is published, Colee.one and Careless Castle, together, are announcing that Careless Castle is officially under new management!

And to hype up this massive announcement, they have officially launched their first website (colee.one) where you can find all services that they offer, and also Careless Castle is launching his website, alongside a brand new merch drop at colee.one/carelesscastle.

Both of these friends and now business partners have been creating huge names for themselves for a long time in the scene, and it’s truly refreshing to see some new faces take a jab at navigating the dance music scene, and the possibilities it could bring with it and potentially more artists further down the line.

Go snag some merch from his new Scorpion King Collection over at the links above and don’t forget to go stream some of Careless Castles releases that are showcased on the new website! I truly look forward to what these two will bring in the next year with the new drive and motivation.
