Future riddim meets color bass in KALIBR‘s newest floral-inspired self-released bass tune – LOTUS.

❀ KALIBR – LOTUS ❀
Virginia-based cyberstep artist who is best known under his moniker of KALIBR returns to our storm system bearing an auditory weapon titled Lotus‘, sure to give listeners a dose of the future he has envisioned.
LOTUS, brimming with chromatic excitement and feral basslines, welcomes us into the mind and cerebral intelligence of KALIBR‘s dystopian style. From start to finish, this new installment proves itself as a well-curated proof of concept that will fit geometrically in harmony throughout his ever-growing discography.
Each aspect, element, and suspense-laden section of LOTUS truly showcases KALIBR‘s prowess and music production skills in textbook fashion.

LOTUS will amalgamate seamlessly with his already-stacked arsenal of audio artillery. With fiery and ferocious singles that a sure to rock the party like his three-track Nightride EP, his singles like – Neuro Damage, and a plethora of remixes (called REKALIBRATIONS) for artists like metal band FRSTMRNE‘s songs Hello Nightmares and Bright Lights, as well as household-known bass music artists like Viperactive‘s Night Owl‘, and even flips of radio hits like Unholy from Sam Smith and Kim Petras.
KALIBR tells us:
This track actually used to be a collab with a buddy of mine, but after reaching out to him and asking him if I could finish it he gave me full control to do so.
This track was created after dealing with some intense relationship situations, I sought a release in a creative and expressive way that would allow me to essentially trick myself into a happier thought process than what I was currently dealing with, so that’s why this one follows a more upbeat tone with the future riddim vibe.
I think at the time the Halcyon label was gaining a lot of popularity, so I tried my hand at some future riddim, and this was the result.
It definitely took some Skrillex vocal chop inspiration as well because who doesn’t love some good vocal chops! Those are way more prevalent in the second drop.

Firstly, give LOTUS a listen, show support by adding the new tune to your favorite playlists, and reposting or sharing the song with your friends and audiences.
Give him a follow on social media and music streaming platforms to stay up-to-date and in the mix with all things KALIBR.
Not to mention, from our sources, he has new music confirmed for the rest of 2024, so stay locked on target with KALIBR as he keeps firing off hot tunes!
