Chicago, Illinois-based music producer Rashard Hayes or best known as DRAHS debuts on Cell Block Collective via his new five-track tearout EP titled ‘HAMMER OF DAWN‘.

Within the EP are tracks Revival, Hammer Of Dawn, Psychopath, Base God, and the variation in production (VIP) of his song Pisslord; which was released as a bonus track to the EP.

In the 16 minutes and 34 seconds of runtime, the EP truly slaps on all fronts. From start to finish, this rising act delivers one helluva fiery EP that exhumes power, aggression, and diverse versatility in soundscapes and thunderous “rage-worthiness”.

Revival starts the EP off with a stunning intro that sets the tone and pace for the subsequent tracks and by golly is it maddening. If you are prone to causing a ruckus during your headbanging dancing and rail-breaking ways, then take heed and notice that this song will have you breaking things in no time.

Next up, his title track HAMMER OF DAWN wastes no time showcasing its ground-shaking capabilities. What you can appreciate is the textural differences between the atmospheric sounds to the fissure-like drops. Trust us, you will be wiping sweat off your forehead after listening to this banger.

Third on the Rolodex of songs is PSYCHOPATH, a true personification of sounds that match up to the title name. From its outright nastiness in basslines to the pre-drop vocals, and sample works are all on-point and fit ever-so-perfectly. As a warning, please remove any breakable materials and objects from your reach as this track can do exactly that – break things.

Fourth on the EP is BASE GOD, a riveting addition to the already stacked lineup of tunes within the EP. BASE GOD is a little more laidback and melodic than the rest of the songs – just kidding, this song is even crazier than the last three. Hitting repeat and replay has never been so rewarding. A must-listen tearout heater.

Lastly, PISSLORD comes out of the gates swinging with a fist full of feral soundscapes that will induce monstrous behavior from any unsuspecting listener. Given it is the VIP (variation in production), the upgraded and updated version is all the rage. From start to finish, the last song on this EP beckons listeners to give their all, and headbanging until your head falls completely off.
