[Phillidelphia-based] Boutta, the innovative maestro of dubstep, unveils his latest experimental EP, “!“, igniting a sensory stroll through soundscapes (out on 4/20).
Featuring three electrifying tracks – “Invasion,” “Passion,” and “Convulsion” – this EP showcases Boutta‘s adeptness at pushing music boundaries.
After being nominated as one of our Artists To Watch in 2024 and releasing “Fully Focused” on our label, we are undeniably excited for the future of Boutta as he continues to refine and develop his signature alternative bass music sound.
“Invasion” thrusts listeners into a chaotic maelstrom of pulsating beats and distorted synths, evoking the sensation of a looming extraterrestrial presence. With “Passion,” Boutta delves into emotive depths, intertwining haunting melodies with frenetic rhythms, capturing the essence of raw ardor. Meanwhile, “Convulsion” induces a visceral reaction, with its erratic tempo changes and seismic bass drops, creating an exhilarating music whirlwind.
Each track on “!” is a proof of concept to Boutta‘s mastery of sound manipulation and his willingness to explore new territories and tributaries within and outside of the norm and his creative comfort zone.
With its fusion of experimental elements and traditional dubstep motifs, this EP is a captivating sonic odyssey that will leave listeners exhilarated and craving more from the visionary mind of Boutta.
