CRaymak mentions: “This track actually started about two or three years ago, during a live production stream on Twitch. I wanted to challenge myself by creating a heavy dubstep track built around mysterious, darker, yet beautifully melodic chords, and then fusing that with metal elements. It all came together over the course of a couple multi-hour streams, and the moment I had the instrumental, I knew Demitri would be the perfect voice for it. This song was one of the first collaborations that really brought us together creatively. Since then, we’ve formed a full-on metal/electronic band and written several more tracks. ‘Phoenix’ represents that spark, the start of something powerful, personal, and transformative for both of us.”

The voice of Phoenix, Demitri Medina adds: “For me, this song is about inspiring hope and pushing forward no matter how hard life gets. I’ve always connected deeply with the myth of the phoenix rising from the ashes, reborn through fire. I know it can sound cliché, but it resonates with me on a personal level. Birds have always been important to me; they’re nature’s singers, symbols of freedom and spirit. Fire, on the other hand, is the refining element, it burns away the unnecessary and leaves you forged, stronger. Life has been full of trials, and this song reflects my belief that every hardship can be an opportunity to rise stronger than before.”
