Boutta unveils new multi-genre body of work ‘The Night We Set The Sky On Fire‘.

An EP of three new songs, resulting in one helluva experience.
Rising bass music producer Boutta is making serious noise with the release of his brand-new three-track EP, The Night We Set The Sky On Fire, a genre-bending showcase of futuristic production, underground attitude, and razor-sharp creativity.

With each song pushing a different boundary – whether it’s in experimental sound design, garage-inspired grooves, or high-energy bass drops – this EP marks a definitive statement from an artist quickly carving his own lane.
Whether you’re a longtime fan or just now tuning in, this project demands attention and cements Boutta as one to watch in the ever-evolving world of forward-thinking electronic music.
Don’t sleep on this release – it’s everything but predictable.

Track 1) Before We Begin
Boutta, the Philly-based producer known for his immersive soundscapes, shines with Before We Begin, the opening track from his new three-track EP, ‘TNWSTSOF‘. Anchored in ambient alternative bass and electronic tones, the track unfolds like a dream with a melody that drifts like distant thoughts. Boutta balances the feels with a grounded amount of creativity, letting minimalism carry as much weight as the notes themselves.
Before We Begin sets the emotional tone for the EP. It’s a track that thrives in dimly lit rooms and late-night drives, perfect for those seeking depth beyond the dancefloor.
Track 2) Right Here
Right Here kicks off his latest EP with a dynamic burst of energy that feels like a nod to the new era of Skrillex while carving out a lane all his own. Fusing elements of UK garage, alternative bass, and experimental sound design, Right Here blends soulful vocal chops with deep, bouncy subs and sharp percussive cuts. It’s forward-thinking and futuristic, and the textbook genre-hopping freedom Boutta is best known for in his other productions. Ultimately, balancing raw bass pressure with an emotive undertone, making the track equally club-ready and headphone immersive.
Track 3) No Shot
No Shot, being the finale to this new EP as the third and last song, is a stark contrast compared to the first two. Although in a saturated electronic music scene where formulas often reign supreme, No Shot from Boutta stands out by taking bold creative risks – pairing gritty rap vocals with an upbeat, high-energy tempo and warped, genre-bending sound design.
Rather than leaning into the predictable low-and-slow trends of underground bass, No Shot flips expectations with rapid-fire percussive elements, glitchy audio textures, and a vocal delivery that feels both raw and rhythmically locked in.
What truly makes the track original is how it bridges two cultures – the swagger and attitude of modern rap with the chaotic, exploratory nature of experimental bass. Wildly fun and Boutta does it again!
With this new EP release, Boutta carves out a unique lane between ambient, electronic, and bass-driven music, showcasing a refined new sound, we are all ready for! Boutta never misses!

Boutta shares this with us:
“My surprise EP “The Night We Set The Sky On Fire” is set to release on all major platforms on 7/4! This project showcases atmospheric soundscape, tonal ambiance and raw percussion!”
