One of Colorado’s biggest electronic music festivals reveals 2024’s star-studded lineup, extended hours, and new venue location.
The Chainsmokers, Kayzo, Fisher, Gryffin, Duke Dumont, and many other artists will perform in the Mile High City on July 26th and July 27th at the National Western Complex from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. for the annual Global Dance Festival in Denver, Colorado.

Not only will you enjoy the impressive lineup, but the venue is also new to GDF and the festival will run until 1 a.m. on both nights. In the past, GDF was held at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO, and Sports Authority Field (outside lots) in Denver.
We changed our Thunderous Tunes: Spotify Playlist to highlight the sounds of this year’s Global Dance Festival. The playlist features over 100 songs from artists on the lineup, offering a mix of international sounds in dubstep, house music, riddim, techno, and more to get you ready for the festival.
Expect to see state-of-the-art stage production featuring cutting-edge lighting and sound technology that will elevate the festival experience to new heights. The anticipated revamped festival grounds will offer expansive areas for attendees to explore, with themed stages and interactive spaces to immerse attendees.
An array of art installations will adorn the surroundings, providing a visually stunning backdrop for the performances. Additionally, a diverse selection of food and merch vendors will cater to various tastes and preferences, ensuring that there is something for everyone. It is called “Global”, after all.
Engaging activities, captivating photo opportunities, and so much more will be part of the rich tapestry of experiences that Global Dance Festival never disappoints with!

Let’s chat with some of the artists performing at this year’s Global Dance Festival. We’ll have the opportunity to delve into the electrifying performances they have in store for the festival.
Join us as they reveal what you can expect from Ravenscoon, SLWMO, MPORT, Chocolate Drop, MORF, and ZOA at this year’s Global Dance Festival.
Welcome, Ravenscoon! What can GDF attendees look forward to from your performance?
“I am beyond excited to be back in Denver for my first Global Dance Festival in July. I’m teaming up with the same VJ I used for my Ogden headlines back in March (Alyssa Miller) to showcase a 60min time coded RAVENSCOON journey set. I have new music + some old favorites to showcase. See you all in Denver soon!”
Welcome back, SLWMO! What can we expect from your GDF debut? Walk us through that massive surprise!
“The Global Dance Festival announcement this year totally took us by surprise! The new location, longer hours, unique lineup, & the most surprising – us getting booked to play on the bass stage this year. It truly is beyond anything we could have dreamed of. We’ve been going to this festival since 2016 (trying not to age ourselves here haha) but this festival has always been such a staple for the Denver scene & to now be on the official lineup is surreal to say the very least. We are SO ecstatic for this set – we’ve already started preparing new music, new throwback edits, a new intro, visuals, etc. to make this the most special (& heavy) SLWMO set to date. We have a strong gut feeling that the Global Dance team has been working overtime to make all of the new changes this year something truly amazing & we are so excited to see it, we can barely stand it!
It’s been a while, MPORT! Great to have you back with us! What sort of soundscapes and fun shenanigans can we look forward to?
“GDF is gonna be so fun! The last time I played half my set got rained out. So, this time I’m coming back with so much determination to create an amazon hour of music. I’m gonna take the best bits from my Bluebird Theater show and combine them with even more new music and visuals to create something massive and unique. This is an amazing opportunity to share my music with a large crowd so I’m not gonna let ’em down.”
Welcome back, Chocolate Drop! What can we expect from your GDF return?
“Hey what’s good its your boy Chocolate Drop and for my upcoming set at Global Dance Festival – you can expect a little bit of everything with some BASS! From bass-shattering tearout to hard-hitting riddim to your wonky wubs and your sing-alongs this is going to be a set you don’t want to miss if you love BASS. Also got some new tunes to rip up, so I hope you can swing by and catch my set!”
Welcome to our storm, MORF! How does it feel to be back at GDF and located at a new location in your hometown’s backyard?
“I feel so honored and blessed to be a part of a tradition that has been going on in Colorado for the last 20+ years. Global Dance Festival is an event that I used to attend religiously with my friends when I was growing up. The amount of memories, nostalgia, and dreams that have been created because of this event for me is unreal. This year, in 2024, I finally get to be on the other side of things and debut all of the new music I’ve been working so hard on for the last 9 years to get myself to this stage. I really hope I can make new friends and fans, but most importantly create memories of a lifetime for anybody who comes to my set. My main goal is to help the listener feel like they can achieve whatever it is they set out for themselves, follow their biggest dreams, or be able to let go of any of life’s struggles and just enjoy the music for a bit. Life is hard on all of us as it is and I truly believe music and dancing can help cure the soul deeply and create an escape. These events changed my life many years ago and I hope I can help do the same for somebody else who might be experiencing it for the first or second time. For the people who have been coming for years, I hope to create a set with energy they’ve never seen live before and hopefully change their perspective on an opening act. This year is so special because of the new venue and time changes. We are able to extend the party up until 1 am when in previous years GDF ended much earlier. We will also be at a brand new location, The Stockyards Event Center! I hope to see you guys both days but if you’d like to see me play, I play at the bass stage on Saturday, July 27th!”
Welcome, ZOA! What can GDF attendees and goers expect from your live performance?
“We’re thrilled to be performing at the Global Dance Festival! If you’ve been to our shows before, you know we bring live guitar and drums to every set. For the past few months, we’ve been working hard on this performance to create a visual experience that deepens our music and tells the story of ZOA. You’ll also encounter Vivius, an AI who will be interacting with you throughout the show. We can’t wait to share this with you!”
