Hysteric quenches the thirst of the riddim rats with ‘Make It Wet‘ on The Bass Space.
Hysteric‘s new riddim single “Make It Wet” has just dropped on the rising record label The Bass Space, and it’s a must-listen for any bass music enthusiast.
Known for pushing the boundaries of the riddim genre, Hysteric delivers a hard-hitting track with pulsating basslines, intricate sound design, and electrifying drops that are sure to ignite dance floors and break rails alike.

Hysteric tells us later in our interview that his main inspiration for the tune comes from rising act KERU‘s sensational riddim hit ‘Hentai Riddim’ (via The Bass Space and Riddim Network). ▼ What inspired you to create this track?
HYSTERIC: I really wanted to make a track that moved the dancefloor and gets the ladies dancing, i was super inspired by Keru’s Henti Riddim and wanted to draw a bit of inspiration while maintaining my recent sound design from Tilted that dropped recently.
▼ Can you tell us about the creative process behind the track?
HYSTERIC: Well it first was important for me to find a sample that would send the message I wanted overall during the drops, and find a hook in the track that made sense. I found something right away and started using some of the sounds I had recently created. Before creating this track I finished a Sample Pack and used all my samples from the pack. Super rewarding outcome.
▼ Were there any challenges you faced while producing this track?
HYSTERIC: Vocals have always been something I have struggled with early on, and each time I do vocals it’s a bit hard to dial it in, but I do feel like I’ve gotten better.
▼ Did you experiment with any new techniques or instruments for this project?
HYSTERIC: I tried some new processing methods to get a cleaner distortion [effect] and tried a new master, I feel like this one slaps for that reason!
▼ What do you hope listeners will take away from ‘Make It Wet’?
HYSTERIC: To get on that dancefloor and MAKE IT WET!
▼ Lastly, what’s next for you after this release? Are there any future projects or endeavors on the near horizon?
HYSTERIC: I have pending releases with a few labels, but unfortunately I can’t exactly share where, however; I can say they are some sick tracks and you definitely will be hearing more riddim from me soon!
