OMAS, PERSES, & MISDOM Pluck Heartstrings w/ Much-Awaited NEW Future Bass Collab “Falling For You” via CULTIV8 Records Bringing The Summer Vibes Just In Time For Festival Season
Storm Report By: Garth Jones
San Francisco-based producers OMAS and New Brunswick‘s (Canada) PERSES, and Los-Angeles‘s vocalist and decorated lyricist MISDOM come together ever-so-cohesively for their highly-anticipated future bass collaborative effort “Falling For You” on CULTIV8 Records.
Listeners can look forward to a summery production from the creative minds of bass music producers OMAS and PERSES that plucks on the heartstrings via MISDOM‘s captivating vocal work and spellbinding lyrics.
Together, these three have developed a signature proof of concept that showcases illuminating basslines and scintillating soundscapes that will easily leave an impression on the minds of fans, listeners, and attendees who hear it live on the festival grounds.
CULTIV8‘s rising artist – OMAS has had several recent bass subgenre hits that have underpinned his stance in the industry with bangers like his the dubstep collab “The Rage” with Awon and Micah Martin via NCS and his wonky bass merger with TVBOO “My Weakness” which also featured MISDOM being OMAS‘ debut release on Liquid Stranger‘s imprint label, Wakaan.

PERSES has shown us all that his resurgence will not be met with doubt. Since his much-awaited return, he has delivered outstanding music time and time again with so much more to come this year (as mentioned in a previous interview).
His first release fresh from a brief hiatus was his “Thicc Headed Lizard” collab with x.stinct and DramaB on Recall Records, then we were graced with his and Future Twist‘s flip of “Mumbai Power” by Skrillex and Beam. Not to mention, just days ago, his official remix of BLAIZE and Emorfik‘s “Spell Swindler” via Bear Grillz’s Rude Service Records.
CULTIV8‘s own – MISDOM has been gaining immense traction lately under the radar, and if you listen to his music; you completely understand why. With several knockout and head-turning features under his belt from artists such as the ghost-like headliner Ghastly with “Vibe”, internet comic HEYZ‘s “Hurt”, and bass music bad boy HEKLER‘s “One I Want”.
And now, with this new anthemic release added to his gallery, we are sure to assume there are a multitude more where that came from. Until then, we are going to revel in what we can, until this stockpile adds to itself from MISDOM.
“Falling For You” comes as CULTIV8 Records’ fourth electronic release behind creators’ Sentient and Nina Sung‘s collab “Undercover Runaway”, TINYKVT‘s “Demon Of My Dreams”, and Ian Snow‘s “Unlimited Vision”.
We will undeniably be watching this space going forward, as this label obviously has a knack for scouting talented artists for exclusive releases (and management roster).
