‘SAVE ME FROM MYSELF’ GETS A FACELIFT FROM RISING TALENT WHEYSTED

[California-based] electronic bass music producer Wheysted brings his own coronal flare to the already fiery original from Scafetta titled ‘Save Me From Myself‘. In this variation you can expect to find the unexpected. By that, I mean; some remixes follow a certain pattern of similarity while what Wheysted accomplishes is an aggressive take on the gracious originality of Scafetta‘s version.
‘LET’S GO NOW!’

If we take a brief juxtaposition to the two tracks, the core pieces are here but what the outer shell gives, is a whole new take on what remixes can be and where they can go. Firstly, the original garners a female lead voice carrying the lyrics into the bass-forward destruction that we all know and love. Although, Wheysted turns it up a notch by adding in a darker theme, reverting the vocals to a male-driven standpoint in addition to the bulky tear-out basslines and volcanic drops.
I DON’T REALLY WANT TO WONDER, IF I’M REALLY GOING UNDER
At the second drop, the otherworldly take on the tracks gets another layer of wonk and wonder. A dash of a slower pace takes hold and your body gets right to work. Amassing over 12,000 plays since it’s release, you can assure yourself that Wheysted takes this original to new heights and let’s it go on a total freefall of creativity and adventure.
