Ward Andrews, a Phoenix, Arizona-based music producer and DJ, who is no stranger to our torrential downpours, gears up to bring another anthemic single to our attention.
This go around, with ‘Fellow Traveller‘ he is bringing singer-songwriter riley riggs along for the ride, both full-handedly giving fans and listeners a dose of nostalgia and remembrance in sonic format.
The dancefloor is a place for celebration, ‘Fellow Traveller‘ underscores the connections we all share under the lights.
This Creation Park release is a nod to the connections we make in the crowd, the underlying sense of familiarity on the dancefloor, and celebrating the few hours we all share under the laser-lit lights.
To some, this feeling of ‘social de ja vu’ (per se) that Andrews and Riggs convey resonates all too well with a great deal of attendees, listeners, and fans in the heat of the beat.
Echoing similar experiences, we, as strangers in the crowd, share the feeling that we all know each other. Connected by the thumping, pounding speakers shaking the floor beneath us, we walk away from the night as fellow travellers.

After an industrious year on the road travelling internationally, there was an epiphany that Ward had, he says – “Every time I’m on a dancefloor, I look around and realize we’re all on the same journey.”
Andrews adds – “Different lives, different reasons for being there, but for a few hours we share the same heartbeat. Peace, love, unity, respect — that’s not nostalgia to me. It still happens in the room every weekend. We’re all fellow travellers.”
Guided by her gentle and melodically rich vocals, riley riggs makes her EDM debut in ‘Fellow Traveller‘, collaborating with Ward Andrews to explore new territories of sound.
While venturing beyond her established roots in folk-pop, acoustic ballads, and instrumental arrangements, riggs finds herself welcomed to the dance music space, opening the door to a new creative outlet through her collaboration with Ward on the Creation Park platform.
riley riggs tells us –“Collaborating on ‘Fellow Traveller’ broadened my horizons musically,” she says. “Electronic music is a brand new space for me, but I resonate with the song’s theme of shared journeys and human connection through music.”
