Virginia’s hard music producer, OpasK gets candid with new love song, ‘CrusH‘.

Owen Paschall, or best known under his music moniker of OpasK; returns to our stormy skies bearing his latest lust-laced banger titled ‘CrusH‘.
Our last run-in with OpasK was three years ago with his blowout bass-banger ‘PVN¢H1NG B4G‘, a wildly stylized and near-hardstyle-type beat, but undeniably a resplendent tune for the hardcore and heavy music seekers. That tune showcased his dexterity in developing rich and decadent tunes. But, back to ‘CrusH‘, shall we?
‘CrusH‘ is a funky ride through the topic of love, loss, and ultimately a tribute to love that never was. The energy is high, the message is clear, and the danceability in this release is off the charts.
OpasK gives listeners a bouquet of beats, and the prowess in each pedal, of this feral flower is everything we wanted from OpasK for this year’s Valentine’s Day!
OpasK mentions:
“during the creation of the song, that girl broke my heart”.

Right from the jump, OpasK delivers full-handedly, with his heart on his sonic sleeve – utilizing funk bass lines, 80s-inspired elements, and an ever-present feeling of melodic ascension. From the synth-soaked soundscapes, radiant high resolution to the back-end, and there is a strong sense of intention and purpose in this release, providing a message under all the musical momentum he is at the helm of in ‘CrusH‘.
Valentine’s Day just got funky with OpasK‘s newest tune, ‘CrusH‘. We’re feeling it <3
OpasK details his creative process behind ‘CrusH’:
“I started CrusH back in 2019 when I had a romantic interest in a girl during my senior year of high school. The original demo of the track had a verse that was vastly different and much more positive than the one you hear now. That’s because, during the creation of the song, that girl broke my heart. At that point, I was kind of in an awkward position with the song. While the hook in the drop basically remained the same, I rewrote everything around it to turn it into more of a sarcastic love song.
Hence, the line at the very end of the song: “You don’t like me anyway.”
Within hours of his upload of ‘CrusH‘ onto SoundCloud, he had already garnered a multitude of comments, greenlighting the soundscape with comments like ‘quality’, “hidden gem”, and “sick tune”, so the electronic music market masses are definitely loving this new release from Northern Virginia-based rising talent, OpasK.
‘CrusH‘ is streaming on all major music platforms, and can be purchased on Amazon Music and iTunes.
