Thred’s new ‘Stitched Up’ EP on SubCarbon Records tangles minds [EP Write-Up]

The EP shines in all the most mind-altering ways, showcasing sounds that are cultivated in the mind of Thred, and now ready for your consumption.

Released on the famed SubCarbon Records, a label renowned for its support of forward-thinking artists and spearheaded by the acclaimed duo Ganja White Night, the EP showcases Thred‘s distinctive blend of intricate melodies and powerful basslines, solidifying his position as a groundbreaking force in the industry.

The Stitched Up EP garners four solo productions titled ‘Bringin It Back’, ‘Click Clack’, ‘You Will Think Of A Name Eventually’, ‘Kick Back’, and one collaboration with Thred’s Built Different Music Group counterparts Kuhlosul and Scycodylics on ‘The Formula‘.

“I made a goal to land an EP on SubCarbon Records. I believed I could, but I knew it wouldn’t be easy. Given my style is weird and a lot of times doesn’t fit labels. But a quote I love to follow is. “Nothing worth getting, ever comes easy”. That helps me get through the times when the needle feels like it isn’t moving.
So all we can do to achieve our goals is work as hard as possible to get there. We don’t always have a choice whether you land a label release, get that promotion, etc. Which brings me to another quote. “You control nothing, but influence everything”.
I feel it’s true since you can’t just decide to “release on a label”, but you can influence the fuck out of their decision!“
