One month after Everything Is Gone has been released- we chat with Ohioan bass music producer Primal about the new glitch-hop single.

Let’s Chat w/
PRIMAL

PRIMAL: For starters, my name is Zach, and welcome to the electronic world of Primal! I am an electronic producer residing in Cincinnati, OH.

Everything is Gone, is a glitch-hop single aiming to convey that you aren’t always going in the direction you want, even if it’s going in a positive direction!

PRIMAL: With this track specifically, I really dug into inspiration from people like SoDown, Daily Bread, Tripp St., and others who have moved me into this driven bouncy single. I wanted to translate power and movement between as many real instruments as possible. And playing 15 instruments definitely helps with that process!

PRIMAL: I rinsed this track live on March 23rd in a loaded room, and the power behind the message, and those horns, bringing their smiles and movement all over the floor. Moments like that are what inspire me to keep creating!

PRIMAL: I have big plans for this upcoming year, from festival placements, collab releases, and lots of new music and elevated sound design. I’d like to take a moment to shout out some colleagues who keep me going! Special mention to my wife Meghan, Top Tier, my manager Nic Sloan, you folks at Monsoon Season, Citron, MUNNY, Jvmpskare, and all of you checking out this track! I love you guys!
