[San Antonio, Texas–based] Josh Martin known as Raddix, just released his debut full-length album “After Dark” via the Trap Party record label with tracks “Cruel”, “Dancin In The Dark”, “Devil In Red” with Barlea, “Erase The Pain” (Interlude), “Faded”, “Lonely Road”, “Losing You”, and “Only One“, spanning nearly a twenty-six-minute runtime.
Raddix, being a Monsoon Season favorite, has been on our radar for a while with multiple publications of his music on our blog (12 to be exact).
So, when we heard the news that his long-awaited album “After Dark” was set to drop on December 1st – we got very excited.
His new album features emotive soundscapes, captivating lyrics, and plenty of heart-throbbing moments from salacious house beats, funky guitar riffs, and melodic basslines – all cohesively delivered, in an effortless fashion.
The rising Texan singer, songwriter, and vocalist seemingly has a superhuman ability to sing on any track, (no matter the genre or style), and make it shine twice as bright.

Those very vocal skillsets have put his streaming numbers in the tens of millions and deservingly so. The masses love Raddix and his fans always want more.
Luckily for them, the “After Dark” album has eight stunning new tracks to sing along to and obsessively listen to on repeat.
Some call it talent, while others call it a gift from above, but one thing is certain, it’s truly magical to experience in any setting; live or recorded.
Raddix shares with us:
“I named the album after my best friend who first got me to write music, he was an R&B singer/Rapper and his stage name was After Dark. He unfortunately passed from cancer in 2018 but I’ve kept pushing to keep our dream going ever since. He saw something in me that forever changed the course of my existence. The title “After Dark” also ironically means what I’ve had to do and what I’ve been through after he passed. This music journey has been a rough but gratifying experience and I really think this albums story telling really encompasses that.”

From dubstep to acapella duets, rock music to pop and dance, the moment his voice hits your ears, you are pulled in for every last second of the song.
As a recent Grammys Recording Academy Inductee (before the age of 30, mind you), and iHeartRadio’s Top 12 Indie Artists of 2023 presented by Yourownmusic.
Along with simultaneously touring/performing at festivals and releasing countless tracks/features; I think it is safe to say that Raddix has had a very productive and fruitful year.
Throughout his uprising, Raddix‘s voice combined with his natural Texan grit and magnetic personality has given him opportunities to work with numerous music producers and singers near and far such as Texan neighbors BLAIZE, MashBit, Jorge Toscano, Champagne Poppers, and Internet Famous (plus many more from The Lone Star State alone).
Raddix has collaborated with many stateside and international artists/acts like BoyPanda, Jason Leech,Scafetta, Cabuizee, and even rockstars and rappers like Afroman (coming soon).
Not to mention, larger-than-life celebrities and industry authorities like marketing mogul Gary Vaynerchuck (yup, even Gary V knows about Raddix).
Raddix is undeniably the future of pop and dance music.
