When Electrostep Network hit our DMs on Instagram and invited us to participate in their upcoming “When Record Labels Collide Vol. 2” co-label release with thirty three (33) other labels – were quick to say yes, (and thank you, of course).

Also, in immediate fashion, we knew who we wanted for our selection to sign as our artist to represent our emerging record label sector for this opportunity. That signee would unquestionably be Denver, Colorado‘s expeditiously rising electronic bass/trap duo Sydney Abeyta and Matthew Shcaps, known as SLWMO. – (pronounced slow-mo).

SLWMO has been on the steady rise in the past couple of years with their explosive iteration of hybrid trap, dubstep, and bass music in their original works, remixes, guest mixes, and their high-octane live performances in the Centennial State of Colorado (and soon to be playing in other states).

What fans, listeners, and soon-to-be SLWMO fanatics can look forward to in “More Than Friends” is an all-out hyphy experience. The intoxicating vocals and emotive lyrics are underpinned by a myriad of pre-drop gunfire spurts and unholy overpours of bass to keep listeners locked and loaded throughout each drop.

Their wildly addictive sound design and ability to get fans rage-ready in no time is what keeps them on the ascending upward trend of in-demand artists in the greater Denver area; and on our constant weather radar.

With a multitude of homebased shows to put them on the map like events with Amplitude Presents – opening for OG Nixin and 8B@LL, LAYZ on 4/20 at the Larimer Lounge, and recently for Party Troopers’ opening for Pixel Terror, FREAKY, and PIERCE at the Azltan Theater.

Keep your eyes peeled and ears primed on SLWMO as they simply cannot be stopped or even “slowed down” for that matter. They are SLWMO and this is “More Than Friends”.
