Two of bass music’s finest – MeSo and Dack Janiels gear up to demolish Philly on Dec. 27th & 28th for REBIRTH – via Better With Friends.
Nightly stage takeovers by local collectives Gciasas Artist Group and Grateful Daytrippers – the night is sure to be reborn via REBIRTH.
As you may (or might not) know – MeSo, the head of Spicy Bois, and Dack Janiels, the head of 40oz Cult – both respectively are distinguished record labels that focus on today’s rising talent and both brimming with fiery and feral tunes.
In addition to the headlining acts and side stages, your supporting talent for both nights will include burgeoning local acts ADMIRE, Bellatrxx, Flipswitch, Zoe God, and many more.
Who is MeSo?
MeSo is an experimental bass music act whose music perplexes the masses, induces thought-provoking lullabies, and sends ripples up and down the crowd’s rail-breaking hot spots.
MeSo‘s top tracks include Blacklist, Love Rocket, and That Gas – all crowd-faves and dancefloor shakers sure to ignite the room.
Who is Dack Janiels?
Dack Janiels is known for his abrasive, brooding, and near-obnoxious bass soundscapes that have become anthemic and household tunes over his 10+ year tenure in dance music.
Traversing the bass music genre umbrella, his tunes like Dr. Death, Gangstalkers, and Manhunt are prodigal examples of his prowess in crafting dubstep, tearout, riddim, and lower beats from the 140 BPM wavelength.
Who is Gciasas Artist Group?
On Dec. 27th, the Gciasas Artist Group, a Philly-based booking, artist management, and event promotions brand both run and curated by Boutta.
Gciasas will host night one’s stage takeover with Boutta and Tripulse, showcasing the sounds of tomorrow from the underground, representing their brands with heads banging, blaring beats from future bass, trap, and left-field/freeform bass.
Some highlight tracks from Boutta include his Monsoon HQ exclusive Fully Focused, plus his latest three-track EP titled “!”, and along with co-host Tripulse‘s ever-growing hits like Restart, I Know That You Miss Me, and Echo – Light.

Who is Grateful Daytrippers?
On Dec. 28th, the Grateful Daytrippers stage takeover will showcase the salacious sounds of East Coast-based talents Master Fayder, MVGNUM OPUS, and Grandaddy Dub on night two.
We don’t know much about these folks, but I am certain we will learn more as we get closer to REBIRTH. Stay tuned.
