K!NG TVT’s debut EP titled ‘THE RISE’ features four new tracks including two solo tracks + two collabs with NVLL & Level 7.

The prophecy is unfolding before the eyes of the masses – K!NG TVT’s rise is imminent, starting with his highly-anticipated debut EP.

Colorado’s own Jake Berrettini, also known by his stage name K!NG TVT, has been making waves as a rising dubstep act in the music industry with his unique blend of arid soundscapes and larger-than-life stage presence.

His commanding performances leave audiences in neck-breaking awe, as he effortlessly weaves together his signature sound with an electrifying energy that is truly captivating.

Here at Monsoon HQ, we have been patiently waiting for Jake’s inevitable meteoric rise of K!NG TVT. Since our website’s genesis in 2020, we have eagerly watched his artistic growth and refinement of sound, all flourish at an exceptional and exciting rate.

From his early guest mixes on our SoundCloud, to his more recent releases like his collaborative efforts with artists Lakye via ‘Damage Control‘, and Revenant via ‘Defiance‘, and sets from his performances in Denver at Forbidden Vortex with ASMO and SCAREXX, Casper’s Mad Mountain Festival [WY], and others in his ongoing tenure.

Now in 2024, ‘The Rise‘ is out on all platforms, showcasing the quartet of tunes in his debut EP; proving his prowess behind the DAW is more than a proof of concept, it is his calling, and this is his rise.

Track 1.) THE RISE

The Rise, as the EP’s opening track, asserts itself as the standout entry in the four-piece collection. Over its 2:30 runtime, it establishes a commanding presence with scintillating bass lines, deep-voiced pre-drop vocals, and an earth-shattering thrill that captivates and demands the listener’s unwavering attention.

“The thought for this one is – how am I going to start this whole project off? So I thought to myself: let’s do it with a song that gets straight to the point and brings out that stompy sound that I’ve been working on recently. Playing off of the thought for the whole EP, I made the pre-drops “Welcome To The Rise” so it brings the idea to life.”

Track 2.) Annihilate (with NVLL)

Annihilate, a collaboration with rising artist NVLL, is a high-energy crowd-pleaser that ignites mosh pits from the moment it starts. “So the story behind ‘Annihilate’ is pretty simple but honestly pretty cool. NVLL and I have been good friends for a while and we always talked about creating something and just never got around to it but when I started the whole thought of this project, I shot the idea to him about creating something very atmospheric. And at the time I was just building thoughts left and right, and then this one just clicked with both of us and then the rest just fell together.”

Track 3.) The Calling

As the third track on the EP, The Calling captivates listeners with its thunderously atmospheric delivery of bass-laden soundscapes, enveloping them in a surefire sonic journey that will cause a riot in no time.

“‘The Calling’ is one that kind of came to be based on the same thoughts as the NVLL collaboration. I wanted to create something atmospheric and to create a scenery for when I play it live. ‘The Calling’ was played for the longest time in sets before it was ever even a full idea and just was an intro.“

Track 4.) Banished To Hell (with Level 7)

The EP’s final track, ‘Banished To Hell’, stands as a pivotal moment in the artist’s musical odyssey. ‘Banished To Hell’ went together how ‘Annihilate’ did based on the fact that Level 7 and I clicked on an idea for an intro and just ran with it. With this one, we wanted to really hit the listener with some of that deeper darker stomp-style sound and I believe we achieved it.
