Hybrid Trap complicates the airwaves with new collaborative effort from Las Vegas-based DXRTY and Chicago’s AZASSIN with groundbreaking single – ‘DISRUPT‘.
DXRTY and AZASSIN have unleashed a seismic force with their latest bass-laden creation, “DISRUPT“ on the Hyrbid Trap record label.
This electrifying collaboration merges DXRTY‘s signature gritty basslines with AZASSIN‘s dynamic rhythms, resulting in a track that commands attention from the very first beat.
“DISRUPT” is a sonic onslaught, characterized by its pulsating bass drops and intricate synth patterns that push the boundaries of the bass music genre. With each crescendo, listeners are propelled into a whirlwind of sound, feeling the intensity surge through their veins.
Talk to us about the inspiration behind ‘DISRUPT’
DXRTY: We definitely took inspirations from our previous works for this project, and we brought out what our sounds and music stood for. We were blending in heavy bass, trap, and experimental elements into one and we both enjoyed experimenting and mixing all of those elements into this project.
AZASSIN: This track started very heavy on the hybrid trap side. As I started to write on it i took it to a very heavy place. The merging of our styles was definitely the biggest inspiration of this track and the high energy was definitely from both of our personalities. We both were very hype every time this track took another step to being finished.
The track’s title “DISRUPT” is undeniably fitting, as it disrupts the conventional norms of hybridize trap and bass music respectively, injecting a fresh dose of energy and innovation into the scene. DXRTY and AZASSIN demonstrate their prowess as producers, crafting a composition that is both relentless and captivating.
Talk to us about the creative process:
AZASSIN: This song kept on evolving. The drops changed a few time but one we got the initial first drop we had the entire sound nearly figured out . Making it more experimental as we created the track helped the diversity in the second drop and really made this song come to life.
DXRTY: This was truly a unique and experimental creative process we made for sure. It all started with the first drop and vocals as the first few ideas and we went from there, bouncing one another from both our productions and it got really insane the more we worked on this project until we were finished.

AZASSIN & DXRTY:
We both used Serum and Operator to create a bunch of diverse sustains then we sent the project back and forth until we had the right arrangements that we liked.
“DISRUPT” is not just a song; it’s an experience that demands to be felt. From the nightclub to the headphones at home, this track is sure to leave a lasting impression on all who dare to listen.
