Arizona’s rising house music artist Ekonovah releases his first tune of 2024 with “Find My Flow” via deadmau5‘s Hau5trap Records

Phoenix, Arizona is known for its arid region and at times its sweltering heat index but one thing in the metropolitan area that maintains a constant rise in Fahrenheit would be electronic music artist Ekonovah.
Every time we turn around, it seems as if Ekonovah is breaking ground in some facet of the industry via music releases, high-octane event performances across our hemisphere (Groove Cruise currently), and acquiring well-deserved recognition for his prolific approach to cultivating house music bangers (no complaints here).
One of those bangers is “Find My Flow” on the Hau5trap label, being his latest release with them and his first of 2024. Fittingly so, the Hau5trap label champions the idea and the act of redefining musical landscapes and breaching the barriers of normalcy within the expansive electronic music genre.
The song itself is a gleaming production that uses simplicity to speak volumes. Within its stylish and mood-altering likeability, the vocals go to work for the listener as it’s emotive, move-provoking, and wildly danceable.
“Find My Flow” showcases salacious sound and an engaging energy throughout its 2:53 runtime. From start to finish, the tune harbors what any good song does and that’s its capability to draw a listener in without question and Ekonovah does that effortlessly here.

As Ekonovah mentions below in his remarks detailing the two-year-long development behind “Find My Flow“, the track saw an evolutionary process that he found unfavorable for the energy he was aiming to transmit in his sets. So, like any astute artist would do… they return to the drawing board and re-write it. (more details below).

“I wrote this song mid-pandemic when no one was playing any shows and a lot of artists, I think, were noticing that this was impacting their songwriting.

For me, mymusic got slower since there were no crowds to play hype shows for and Find My Flow was born out of the weird emotions that were brought up during 2020.
Fast forward to 2022 during my debut tour, and I realized the song didn’t fit my live sets at all. It was way too slow and emotional to get a good dance floor reaction.
So I stripped down the lyrics to a small catchy loop and rebuilt the entire track from the ground up. I love how it turned out! It’s funny in retrospect; without the pandemic this track wouldn’t exist, but without shows returning full force as they have for the last few years, this version of the track wouldn’t exist either.
Both states of the touring industry needed to happen for Find My Flow to be as it is now and I am thrilled with the final result.
Hau5trap is one of those labels who I feel really “get” what I’m doing with my music. It’s awesome for my first 2024 release to be with this team and I’m stoked this one is no longer in the vault!”
