Honolulu‘s Rising Bass Music Artist STORM Unleashes A Category-5 Downpour with NEW Hybrid Trap/Tearout Single “SERIOUS”
Storm Report By: Garth Jones
Hawaii‘s own rising bass music artist STORM amps up the wattage with his all new release of “SERIOUS” – a hair-raising blend of hybridized trap, tearout, and dubstep.
“SERIOUS” is a fresh and electrifying upgrade from releases past by him as they were more melodic and emotive. As of late, STORM has been dialing in his sound design, learning new techniques, and upping the ante on harder and heavier releases like this one for the rest of the year.
STORM tells us:
“My past releases have been melodic, but I’ve spent the past 6 months producing heavy dubstep music and in the process of transitioning to releasing heavy bass and a variety of electronic genres. I have acquired a unique heavy hitting bass sound that is sure to get the crowd hype for future releases to come.” – STORM
There is so much to love about “SERIOUS” from STORM. From the get-go, we are introduced to the 3:03 duration by a stark and momentous soundscape with – . Then, without notice the suspenseful build-up takes shape and the initial trappy drop in a thunderous strike of electricity.
We feel the “storm” persona in full-effect by the halfway mark of the track when the tearout sections are most prominent. The contrast between the hybrid trap and harder bass elements keep listeners on their feet, moving. Headbanging and neck breaking are imminent for fans and attendees this festival season.
The last section of the track is a breath of fresh air as STORM ups the tempo and we see “SERIOUS” in its final form and the stadium-sized drops are larger than life.
