Kliptic – Fallen [Track Write-Up + Artist Interview]

Kliptic
‘Fallen

[Maryland-based] dubstep rising talent distributes pure retaliation with his newest release ‘Fallen’. Busting with dynamic elements and sounds that get a nasty backup of malicious bass. The artistic development through the track is undeniably jaw-dropping. What Kliptic manages to jam-pack into this nearly 4 minute long track is flooring. Heat after heat, drop after drop; on repeat. Keep your balance, ‘Fallen‘ is earth-shattering from front to back.

It’s no secret now that Kliptic is a crusader in sound, a force to be reckoned with, and empirically destined for greatness. Already tracking the attention of Later Tonight and the illustrious Subsidia Records for his gut-wrenching collaboration with industry heavy-hitter, LAYZ. We can safely add ‘Fallen‘ as a banger installation in the catalog of Kliptic‘s.

Q1: Welcome to our downpour! We are stoked to get soaked with you, Kliptic!
What can you tell us about your origin story? All the way up to your name choice to be.

A1: Thanks for having me! I appreciate this opportunity for my fans to get to know me a little better. I was born and raised in Maryland. I grew up around music and the music industry since the crib. I’ve had the pleasure to see a wide variety of concerts and different types of artists. I’ve always listened to all different genres of music. Early on in my show days I developed a profound love for EDM and concerts that continued to grow over time, eventually giving me the extra spark to make my own music which led to the birth of the Kliptic project. I Chose Kliptic because it was a gamertag I’ve always gone by and thought it was unique.

Q2: For the unknowing readers and soon-to-be fans, what is your primary genre preference when playing music? Where does this liking come from?

A2: Heavy dubstep is the staple of my sets although you can expect to hear a little bit of heavy trap and future bass. I’m a big fan of melodic and cinematic intros with heavy hitting drops!

Q3: What do you have in store for 2021 for your fans? Be sure to let them know what is going down in the world of Kliptic!

A3: I don’t want to spoil anything, but my team and I are working on a lot! Expect a ton of new releases, a new mix early 2021, and some sick collaborations. Hopefully when shows are safe again, we can reschedule some of the show dates and also hit some new areas!

Q4: Walk us through your creative process when you made the aforementioned track ‘Fallen’ . What went into this track mentally and sacrificially?

A4: Everyone is going through a lot right now. I wrote this song during quarantine after losing a lot of shows and other things we had planned. The song is heavy but also upbeat. I can relate this to trying to stay positive and happy with everything that’s going on.

Q5: Who do you see killing it these days? Be sure to give them a shout-out below.

A5: I want to give a massive shoutout to my family over at Later Tonight. We have multiple artists that are killing it in their respective fields with huge releases that recently came out or are dropping soon. There’s a huge list of other up and coming artists that I think are killing it and deserve notice including LAYZ, Jiqui, High Zombie, and Stoned Level to name just a few.
