ODD ONE Recreates His BACKSTAB Riddim Single With The Much Darker VIP Version

Self-proclaimed ‘Welder From Hell‘ who goes by ODD ONE definitely leaves a lasting impression with each encounter. This go around his recreation of BACKSTAB is at play. He took what was already good with the original and made it much better in this variation.

If you haven’t heard the original already, it would be wise to do so before truly appreciated the VIP (variation in production). Listening to the two one after another was ideal to really hear the differences and amplifications.

The abysmally darker atmosphere is really what sets the VIP apart from the original. From start to finish the way he utilizes new spaces and adds ornamental sounds in places not used before. Taking this VIP into an upper echelon of new tracks to blast on repeat.

We here in the stormy skies of Monsoon Season cannot wait to see what ODD ONE welds up next. From all the creativity and fab-work he has done as of late, we feel this trajectory is an upward one.

Being that he is under the wings of Gridlock Management, this type of team can achieve a multitude of great things for ODD ONE in the near and distant future.
