Colorado-Based House Music Sensation jackLNDN Sends Out An Ode To Self-Destructive Tendencies Titled ‘Bad Decisions’ Via The Jack’s House Label

Residing in the Centennial State of Colorado, jackLNDN has refined his salacious house music sounds in the thin-aired mountainous region.
Over the years he has been on my radar due to my former residency in the Denver greater metro-area and I can safely say his music has a worldwide effect and has managed to deliver his music outwardly as such. First running into his music at the famed Decadence Festival at the Colorado Convention Center in 2015 (seems like yesterday)
Over the years, this all-star aficionado of house music has risen through the ranks at a meteoric rate and that can generally summed up by his talent, dedication to his craft, and a multitude of good decisions. With that being said, this brings us to the track at hand, Bad Decisions.
Self-admittedly, he mentions “An ode to self destruction”, and we can fit the pieces together after watching the lyric video (attached below).
jackLNDN shares –
“I feel like this is a highly relatable song. It’s about self-destructive tendencies and those moments when we knowingly make poor choices to escape the reality of our lives. We all turn to different vices for escapism, be it drinking, substances or sex. When you know what you are doing is unhealthy & a poor life choice, but you still engage in that behaviour with a deliberate desire to cause chaos while running from or numbing your own pain.”
The release is studded with atmospheric soundscapes and garnished with the truthful lyrics, encompassing the real desires we all hide deep inside. Deviating away from social norms to not open up and divulge the dark moments we all manage to manifest in our personal experiences of humanity or the lack thereof.
Granted, the tune holds it down as a dancefloor dominator but adding in the meaning and philosophical backline, we take a second to look in ourselves whilst we still break a sweat to the beat. A mix of sweet and savory, the taste-making is apparent and prominent with jackLNDN’s Bad Decisions.
